080614 The Somerset Run

It's becoming rather repetitive saying this but 'weather permitting' we plan to ride to Esk for brekkie this week. Meet at the BP Goodna 7am for a ride via Glamorgan Vale, Lowood, Lake Atkinson, Coominya to Esk. After our repast we head north towards Somerset, before which we begin our ride homewards in the direction of Fernvale. With fine conditions the plan is to turn east before Fernvale and tackle Mt Glorious with a stop on top at the usual cafe. Any doubts on the ride please call me on the morning on 0418886041. REPORT: Clear run from Goodna Servo with Danny, Kim, Neil, Lester (not so cold), Adrian, Ken, Steve, Jim, and Tim (who took the photos - oh yea Andrew) all enjoying a breakfast at a new venue called Sticky Fingers Alfresco Restaurant. Extremely good fare (and great dunnys) will be used by us again. also had heating for Nanna (sorry i meant Neil). The photo does injustice -it was really ugly. Bonding worked well so we continue that at Neil's restaurant on Mt Glorious. All uneventful but a fantastic ride on a beautiful day. Kim needs to do a bit more checking to make sure he follows the right bloke back to Hi Side Leathers at Salisbury - thanks go to Danny and Andrew for helping the poor silly sod. Check the photos
